GWX18V-50PCN: 18 V X-LOCK Grinder The Bosch GWX18V 18 V 4 1/2 5" X-LOCK grinder with a CORE18V performance battery kit features a tool with the X-LOCK mount offering a wheel change interface that's up to five times faster than conventional interfaces. There’s an audible snap when mounting an X-LOCK wheel on an X-LOCK grinder. The wheel mounts properly without the need for a spanner wrench or flange nuts. The wheel is released from the grinder with the pull of a lever. The grinder’s brush less provides greater efficiency that maximizes run time and productivity. It has power equivalent to a 10-amp corded grinder. The grinder provides an x-brake which helps provide a rapid stop of the wheel when the switch is turned off. It also includes other advanced electronics such as drop control kickback control restart protection and soft-start technology. The grinder has connected-ready capability supplying an interface that works with the optional Bosch connected tool module to link to the free Bosch toolbox app. The next-gen Lithium-Ion CORE18V 8.0 Ah performance battery delivers 2x the power and run time of standard two-layer 4.0 Ah 18 V batteries with minimal increase in volume. The CORE18V 8.0 Ah battery delivers 2x the run time of CORE18V 4.0 Ah 18 V batteries for high-demand applications. It delivers the Bosch-exclusive cool pack 2.0 heat-management system. Works With: Cutting dust extraction/collection hoods: 18DC-5E, GA50DC, Metal Type 1A cutting guard: 18GG-45E, Bosch Bluetooth® connectivity module: GCY42 (See tool’s owner’s manual for its connectivity/app features.). Bluetooth® connectivity - uses an optional Bosch Connected Tool Module to connect the tool to the free Bosch Toolbox app on a connected device, to customize settings and provide feedback. Adjustable too-free guard - designed with multiple fixed adjustment settings to allow the user to position the guard in a variety of working angles. Brushless motor - provides greater efficiency that maximizes runtime and productivity, plus power equivalent to a 10-amp corded grinder.
